Close drive from Houston. Nice place to camp with trailer or rent a cabin. If you want a golf cart to get around you must book in advance. Store has good selection of adult beverages but do not stock 12 packs of soda. My only complaint is the employees. While there are a few friendly ones there are way too many ghetto punks working here that have NO people skills, especially around the water areas.
I mean the rides are pretty cool (at the actual water park area). Golf is pretty fun. The gold carts are cool to ride. Cabins are comfortable enough. My Stay so far is great but I would recommend not doing everything in one day. Kinda ruins the fun if you're staying a few days, but over all its great.
How often does a place of business get good reviews without showing up.
My family and I stayed a week in RV site 64. It was a nice shaded level lot. The hookups were nice and easy. There is also cable provided with 48 channels. The wifi worked also pretty good with about 6-7 Mbps good enough to stream HD from Hulu and Netflix. We did have a couple of spotty disconnects on one night but other than that no other issues. Overall the facility is clean and well maintained. The water park is awesome and that's were we spent most of our time. Also the concession stand in the water park is good and moderately priced compared to other resorts we have stayed at. We read several of the reviews before we came and got a little nervous but after we experienced it I wanted to give a good honest review to let everyone know what to expect. The employees were friendly and helpful when asked however they are not overly outgoing. Also they do limit the amount of people to 6 to any campsite even if your camper sleeps 10 like ours does. Activities run Wednesday through Sunday starting at 9am. Check there website for the schedule. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and will put it on the return list.
Thank you so much for being understanding in times of disaster, we had reservation to enjoy the park the following week after the storm hit the Houston area, but were unable and cancelled our reservation a week prior to arrival. I submitted my cancellation on the internet and followed up with a phone call later and was assured that it would be cancelled and total refund issued. You did as promised and we are so glad you took the circumstances into consideration. I admire business that look at customers issues and are not out just to make a buck. I was so looking forward to the visit as I was planning to take my granddaughters with us. I can promise you this I will make ever effort to visit in the future with the grandkids and pass the word around how understanding your business is. Again thank you.
This is the 3rd time we have been here with our grand children. It feels good to see them light up as they get thrilled with the water park which has features for all ages. The climbing tower is another big favorite. The train rides, Yogi and Cindy Bear, the fire pit where we make Smores, and the putting golf course are all just some of the fun packed into this park.
